Mandy's Washable Make Up Wipes

If you've passed the shop recently you may have seen a beautiful little stack of crocheted makeup wipes in the window. These were made by our customer Mandy.  They would make a lovely, eco-friendly gift for a special person.

Mandy has given us permission to reproduce the pattern here and it's also available on Ravelry so what's stopping you having a go?

If you make some, we'd love to see pictures (tag us on Instagram or Facebook) and, if you're a Ravelry user, create a project over there. That will help Mandy reach a wider audience.

Washable Make-up Wipes by Mandy Challis

Each one of these everlasting make-up wipes can be made in as little as 15 minutes.

It won't take long and you'll have a set ready to give as a Christmas stocking filler. Present them in a small organza bag and, the lucky recipient will also have a bag to keep them together in the wash!

Using the lovely Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK, a little goes a long way, so you'll have plenty left to treat yourself!

Machine washable on a low temperature wash.

MATERIALS

• 1 ball Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo & Cotton DK (100g)

• 5 mm crochet hook

• Needle and scissors

• UK crochet terms

FINISHED MEASUREMENT

9cm diameter. Tension is not critical for this pattern.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

If you are a confident crocheter, using a standard increase pattern, you could add additional rounds (before the final round) to make a circular face cloth to match.
