West Yorkshire Spinners Re:Treat
We have a wonderful new yarn in store - WYS Re:Treat - and what a treat it is. It is 100% British Wool - a blend of Blue-Faced Leicester and Kerry Hill - which is reared and produced entirely in the UK.
The yarn itself is a roving-style chunky yarn, so it works up quickly (roving-style being a lightly spun yarn with only one ply). It's silky soft with a slight halo. It comes in a beautiful range of colours with names like"Serene", "Peace" and "Calm".
We think this would make marvellous jumpers and accessories such as hats and scarves.
Each 100g ball contains 140 metres/153 yarns of yarn and works up to a tension of 14 stitches and 19 rows to 10cm so it can be used for standard chunky patterns.
At £6.50 per ball it's a little bit of affordable luxury. Care: Hand Wash only.
