What does 2020 mean to you? A new challenge
Your Take on 2020
In time to come what will your memories of lockdown be? When you look back what will you think of?
Use your skills and creativity to make a wall hanging that captures an element of what you’ve processed during this time, something that will inspire you in years to come. Something you loved or something you learned.

The wall hanging can be knitted, crocheted, woven, plaited or done in macramé.
The only requirement is that it is made out of yarn!
June, find a pattern and the materials required.
Send in a photo of the raw materials.
July and August make the wall hanging!
September – December send in a photo of the finished article (to info @ cratesofwool.co.uk). It would be great if you could send in a blurb to explain why you did what you did. We will run a gallery here on our website.
This won’t be a competition as everyone’s take on the year will be different and how can we judge what all of us have grappled with and overcome. Before you discard the idea, pause and think. It would be good for the soul to have a memorial to what you have lived through. Who knows, we could be putting together our own Bayeux Tapestry!
We have set up a Pinterest board with some ideas to get your creative juices flowing: take a look.
