Christmas Window Competition 2026
We've loved having all your amazing creations in our window for Christmas so we're going for a third year of the fun.
This year's theme is "Christmas Stockings". Your entry must be handmade and it must be Christmassy, but otherwise, your imagination is the only limit. You can knit one, crochet one, use macramé, embroidery or any other craft. It could be a full-size stocking that you'd hang on a mantlepiece, a tree decoration, a granny square with a motif, a jumper with a stocking on - anything so long as it's Christmassy, is stocking shaped or features a stocking.
We will then build a window display with all your submissions and we will invite the public to vote for their favourite on Dickensian Evening (Friday December 4th) and throughout the following week. The entry that gathers the most votes by December 14th will win a yarnie Goodie Bag. We'll have lots of runner up prizes too. There's also a category for under 16s with their own prizes.
