This website is operated by Crates Of Wool Limited. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Crates Of Wool Limited. Crates Of Wool Limited offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
All information on the site is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions are error free. We will correct any errors as soon as they are brought to our attention. Colour names and pictures are provided for your convenience only. Because of the differences with which computer screens display colours, the colour you see may not always match the colour of the yarn. If a product you ordered is not as described, you may return it in an unused, resaleable condition for a refund. See our Returns Policy for more information.

PLACING ORDERS

All customers must log in using the link at the top of the screen, where you will also find a link to create an account if you have not used the site before. Please note that the shipping address you enter must be the same address as that of the payment card you intend to use.

On the product pages, you will find descriptions of the items on offer along with any colour variants available. On changing the colour or number of items the site will display a message indicating whether the item is in stock. You may not order items that are not currently in stock.

Clicking the ADD button adds the item to your shopping cart. Continue adding any further items as you wish.

SHOPPING CART

The contents of your shopping cart can be viewed by clicking on the cart icon at the top right of the screen. In the shopping cart you may change quantities and remove items altogether. You may also leave a message to us.

When you have finished shopping, click the CHECKOUT button.

On the following pages, you must confirm delivery address, select postage options and make your payment. We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards.

DELIVERY

For a delivery address in the UK we use Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery, unless you have chosen another option at checkout.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.

WORKSHOPS

Our workshops are designed for 4 or more participants. If we do not have sufficient participants one week before the start of the workshop we will contact all those who have enrolled and offer 1) an alternative date or 2) a full refund.

If you cancel your booking within one week of the class commencing, we will attempt to fill your place. If we cannot fill the place, we are sorry, we cannot refund your fee.

If your circumstances change and you wish to transfer onto a different workshop, we will charge a transfer fee - £10 for a single session workshop, £20 for a longer course. This is to partially compensate us for an empty place on a course that we cannot fill.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your submission of personal information through this site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

LEGAL

Our liability to you in contract law or in tort or otherwise howsoever arising in relation to these terms and conditions is limited to our charges for the goods. We will not be liable to you for any loss or destruction of the goods, temporary or otherwise, which occurs subsequent to delivery. Although we will endeavour to ensure that the goods are safe to use, we will not be liable for any damages, loss, expense or liability arising either directly or indirectly from products supplied to you.

We will not liable for any breach of these terms and conditions caused by matters beyond our reasonable control including acts of God, fire, lightning, explosion, war, disorder, flood, industrial disputes (whether or not involving our employees), weather of exceptional severity or acts of local or central government or other authorities.

We reserve the right not to sell to any prospective customer at our sole discretion.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms of Service and any relevant interaction between the parties shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any claim, dispute or difference which may arise hereunder or in relation to any relevant interaction between the parties prior to these Terms.
