Coronation Keepsake Blanket Crochet Along
Join us to make this beautiful crocheted Coronation Keepsake Blanket, designed by Anita Gibney of Made by Anita. It contains a host of motifs inspired by King Charles' interests, the Crown Jewels and much more.
The free pattern will be released in weekly instalments on the Sirdar website starting on Wednesday March 8th (initially the CAL was to start on March 1st, but Sirdar has delayed by a week to give people more time to get their yarn). There will be videos with instructions and hints and tips each week.
We'll be working on the blanket together here in the Crates of Wool shop on Thursday mornings starting on 16th March at 10:30am and some Saturday afternoons too. We've delayed the start because of difficulties with getting supplies of the yarn, but we're hoping to have more stock well before that date.
You will need:
- 1 pack of Hayfield Bonus DK yarns - available here
- 3.5mm and 4mm crochet hooks
The first 10 packs will also contain an embroidered label for the perfect finishing touch!
