Our Christmas Window Competition - 2025 Edition
Last year's "Make a Christmas Tree" competition was very popular and we loved having our window full of your amazing creations, so we're going to do it again!
This year's theme is "Angels and Fairies and Things That Fly" Your entry must be handmade and it must be Christmassy, but otherwise, your imagination is the only limit. You can knit one, crochet one, use macramé or any other craft. It could be a tree decoration, or a granny square with a motif, a jumper with an angel on - anything so long as it's Christmassy and it flies.
We will then build a window display with all your submissions and we will invite the public to vote for their favourite on Dickensian Evening (Friday December 5th) and throughout the following week. The entry that gathers the most votes by December 15th will win a yarnie Goodie Bag. We'll have lots of runner up prizes too. Children's entries will be in their own category with their own prizes.
Please let us have your entries by Saturday November 29th.
So, get your creative juices flowing! We can't wait to see what you'll come up with.
It's Competition Time!
Yes, we are holding a quick competition with prizes and everything!
We would like you to make a Christmas tree to go in our shop window. It must be handmade and it must be mainly green, but otherwise, your imagination is the only limit.
