Knitting Workshop - Cables - Thursday 10th April (afternoon)
If you've ever admired an intricate aran sweater but have not had the confidence to try it for yourself, this is the workshop for you.
Cable knitting is a method of switching the positions of several stitches to produce a dramatic pattern. The columns of cabled stitches look like they have been braided and stand out boldly from the background.
You will learn: how to make a variety of cable stitches, using a cable needle, and how to follow a cables pattern.
Experience required: Basic knitting skills - knit and purl, cast on and cast off.
You need to bring: 5mm knitting needles. We provide the rest.
The course takes place in our friendly shop at 8A East Street, Ware, SG12 9HJ on Thursday 10th April from 2pm to 4pm.
