Broomstick Lace Crochet Workshop - Saturday 17th September (afternoon)
Broomstick lace is a crochet technique which uses a crochet hook and another long slender item such as a knitting needle. Traditionally a broomstick was used, hence the name, but we will be using a knitting needle. It produces a beautifully lacy fabric which is stable enough to use for clothing and blankets alike.
This workshop is suitable for people who can already crochet - you just need to know how to make chains.
Cost includes tuition, needle and yarn and runs from 2pmam to 4pm. You need to bring a 3mm or 3.5mm crochet hook.
Held in our friendly shop at 8A East Street, Ware, Herts SG12 9HJ.
Tutor: Diana Bensted of The Crochet Chain
