Crochet Socks Workshop - Saturday 24th May (afternoon)
Why should the knitters have all the fun? Learn all the techniques to make your first crocheted sock.
In this workshop we will be making a small sample-sized sock with the following techniques:
- toe-up construction,
- turning a heel,
- making a ribbed cuff,
- and how to make it fit perfectly!
We will be working in chunky yarn so that all the stitches are easily seen. You will receive the sock pattern (which can be made in any size with 4ply yarn) with a photo tutorial, and yarn for the samples.
This workshop is for those who can already crochet (bring along a 6mm hook to the workshop) but you will only need basic stitches (ch, slst, dc, tr) as you will be taught everything else. The workshop will be held in our friendly shop at 8a East Street, Ware, SG12 9HJ from 1:30 to 4 pm.

If you cancel your booking within one week of the class commencing, we will attempt to fill your place. If we cannot fill the place, we are sorry, we cannot refund your fee.
-
If your circumstances change and you wish to transfer onto a different workshop, we reserve the right to charge a transfer fee - £10 for a single session workshop, £20 for a longer course. This is to partially compensate us for an empty place on a course that we cannot fill.
