Sock Knitting Workshop - 2 weeks from Thursday 10th October (afternoons)

Sock knitting involves a number of techniques, which can make it appear daunting, but this workshop will take you through knitting an entire sock with ease.  We will be working cuff down, in the round on a circular needle, starting with a baby sock but you will receive a pattern including an adult sock and enough yarn for both. We will cover:

• casting on with a stretchy cast-on
• magic loop on a circular needle
• traditional heel-flap and gusset construction
• grafting toes closed

This workshop is held over two sessions: both 2-hour workshops, running on Thursday 10th and 17th October from 2 - 4 pm, in our friendly shop at 8A East Street, Ware, Herts SG12 9HJ.

You bring: yourself
We supply: needles, yarn, tea and coffee

Experience required: confidence in knitting basics and knitting in the round.

The Small Print:

• We need a minimum of 4 course attendees to make the course fun for you and worthwhile for us.  If less than 4 people have booked this workshop a week beforehand, we will cancel that date and reschedule and/or offer a refund.
  

• If you cancel your booking within one week of the class commencing, we will attempt to fill your place.  If we cannot fill the place, we are sorry, we cannot refund your fee.
  
  

• If your circumstances change and you wish to transfer onto a different workshop, we reserve the right to charge a transfer fee - £10 for a single session workshop, £20 for a longer course. This is to partially compensate us for an empty place on a course that we cannot fill.
