Rain Beater Hat pattern
This hat is a great introduction to knitting in the round; knitted to a slightly tighter gauge than usual to help repel wet weather. It also has a brim to keep the raindrops out of your eyes and off your specs. The simple texture makes for a fun knit.
The brim can be worn in a dozen different ways. Why not dress your hat up with a contrasting ribbon around the base, or add a statement button?
This hat is part of the Crates of Wool Hats Off in 2020 event.
On purchase you will receive one printed copy of the pattern. If you prefer a digital download, please visit Ravelry.com.
To make a hat requires 1 ball of Aran yarn (150 - 180 m) and a 4mm circular knitting needle. Kits are available here.
